We are delighted to present this year’s Seacoast Home & Garden Show at the Whittemore Arena, UNH. The doors will open at 11:00am on Friday and 10:00am on Saturday and Sunday, March 26, 27 & 28, 2010.
Our spring show is full of inspirational ideas for the home and garden. This year we are putting a special emphasis on updating and remodeling in today’s new eco-friendly world, all designed to help consumers make informed decisions about their homes and gardens.
Exhibitors
There are over 200 exhibitor booths at this year’s show offering consumers the opportunity to see the latest products and services on the market. Exhibitors include businesses such as: Castle Kitchens, The Closet Factory, Wintergreens Solariums, Northern Pool & Spa, Big Ocean Builders, American Geothermal, Audio Video Experience, Inc., Lindal Cedar Homes, Gagne & Sons, Overhead Door, Holt Landscaping, Coldwell Banker, Urban Tree and many, many more.

Shopping Bags!
Bring ‘em. (Your shopping bags) Regional artisans, purveyors of culinary delights, and vendors of garden accessories and home decoratives fill the quest of shoppers who are looking for terrific gifts for their own homes or great giving for friends and family. Fill your shopping bags with goodies from candles to candy, pickles to pottery, stained glass to wrought iron, and everything in between and beyond.
Greenhouse Open House
Each year the Seacoast Show runs concurrently on Friday and Saturday with the Annual UNH Greenhouse Open House. The Open House is sponsored by the Thompson School of Applied Science, the Plant Biology Department, the Cooperative Extension, and the College of Life Science and Agriculture. The event features educational lectures, guided and self-guided tours of the greenhouses, plant sales, informative displays, the Plant Doctor, and even a children’s scavenger hunt. The Open House and greenhouse tours are free and open to the general public from 9-4 both days. The Open House does not run on Sunday.
Meet the Chefs!
Returning again this year is the popular Meet the Chefs cooking series, now in its fifth year. This event attracts standing room only audiences and highlights some of the top chefs in the Seacoast region, who will share their culinary secrets and recipes in a specially designed kitchen with state of the art appliances. At the end of each cooking session, samples and recipes are passed out to the audience. Several of the chefs are authors and will be book signing after their presentations. Please observe all traffic and parking signs and watch for directions to designated parking areas to take advantage of the shuttle service.

General admission: is $8, Seniors 65+ is $6, Youth 6-16 are $4 and Children under 6 are free.
